Wordless Narrative

This is a wordless sequential narrative illustration I created to explore communicating through image alone. This depicts the journey of 3 aliens who have crash landed in the woods in search for the theatre. Instead they find out they could create their own theatre with what surrounds them and the friends they made on their travels, including a miss understood wolf. This illustration is also seamless so was designed to be printed on an A5 size concertina, to be viewed as a long illustration rather than page by page. I also took inspiration from Margret Atwood’s short story “The Martians Claim Canada” for the storyline as well as The Bayeux Tapestry for the use of borders alongside the seamless nature of the illustration.
